How to Ramadhan Dish (Dish 5)

Biscuit cream 

This dish is simple, cute and easy. anyone can make it. you don't need an oven, just a bowl and a mixer. I call it biscuit cream:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Leinbiz biscuit,
  • 4 tablespoons of Nido,
  • 2 nesli cream (puk),
  • 1 pack of Dream whip,
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon of butter,

How to:
  • crush the biscuit with your hards or a big spoon,



  • add the other ingredients in another bowl,

  • mix well,

  • pour the mixture on the crushed biscuit,

  • mix well, (if it looks like baby food you're doing it right :D)

  • using a teaspoon put the biscuit cream on small bowls,

  • put them in the fridge and take them our before serving,


Enjoy a simple and fast Dessert!

How to Ramadhan Dish (Dish 4)

Cinnamon Rolls

I made cinnamon rolls today for the first time and they were Delicious! so my next how to Ramadhan dish is cinnamon rolls. here how its done:


Ingredients:

dough:
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour (all purpose)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of dry yeast
  • 5 table spoons of melted butter
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt

filling:

  • 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 3/4 stick of butter (room temperature not melted)

Egg wash:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of milk

sugar glaze:

  • 1 cup of sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (room temperature not melted)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract 
  • milk (add until the mixture looks like the picture at the bottom of this post)

How to:

  • pre heat the oven,
  • add the ingredients for the dough together and mix them in a mixer for 5 minutes,
  • if the if the dough looks too wet add 2 tablespoons of flour,
  • when its mixed and looks shiny turn of the mixer and scrape the dough from the hook,
  • knead the dough: place the dough in a bowl lightly flowered and spread the dough with your palms, 

  • cover the bowl with a plastic cover and leave it for an hour or until it doubles in size, 

  • while waiting for the dough, start making the filling, mix all the ingredients for the filling and mix it with a spoon,

  • when the dough doubles in size knead it again,


  • roll out the dough on a flat surface (table),
  • make sure theres enough flour to prevent the dough from sticking on the table


  • spread the filling on the dough,



  • roll the dough,



  • cut the dough into slices,



  • place them in a buttered pan


  • beat the egg wash mixture,
  • use a pastry brush to paint the egg wash on each roll,



  • put the pan in the oven let it bake for 12-15 minutes,


  • mix the ingredients for the sugar glaze,



  •  when the rolls look blownish-goldish take the pan out of the oven,
  • let it cool down for 10 minutes,

  • put the rolls in a nice plate,

  • pour the sugar glaze on the rolls,



Thats it! your Cinnamon rolls are ready to serve!!

How to Ramadhan Dish (Dish 3)

Cheese Roles

 The third dish is cheese roles. I'm not really sure who created these cheese roles but they're famous here, It's really simple and easy. It's a dish you put on you're Dessert table. heres how its done:

  • you will need cheese and Samboosa leaves,



  • Take 1 Samboosa leave and cut it in half,



  • Cut the cheese like what you see in the picture,


  • Put the cheese on the edge of the Samboosa leave,


  • Role it,


  • use a mixture of water and flour as a glue,


  • Repeat until you have the about you want,
  • paint the pan with butter,
  • butter the roles too,


  • when done put the pan in an oven ( pre heat the oven)


  • at medium temperature leave the pan for almost 15 to 20 minutes or until the colour of the roles become light brown or golden,


  • put the roles in a nice plate and pour Sheera* or honey on the roles.



Enjoy!

*Sheera:
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 cups water
    • mix it in heat until boiling
    • leave it to cool down
    • pour it on cheese roles
